This release gives you control over expert interview lengths, updates how shared briefs appear, and lets you bring a strategy document into onboarding. You get duration choices with credit estimates, readable public brief details, and a way to pick up setup where you paused. We’ve also worked on linked promotions, notifications, uploads, tables, and due dates.
Here is what shipped.
Choose your expert interview length
You can now choose a 10, 20, or 30-minute interview when requesting expert insight. Select Auto to get an estimated duration based on your topic and context, or choose a length yourself and see the estimated credits before sending the request.
For a content marketer gathering source material, this gives you a way to plan the time you’re asking an expert to spend and the credits needed for the conversation. Your selected duration carries through to the expert’s interview setup, and credit charging aligns with the selected length.
Share a readable public brief
Public briefs now show assignment details as readable content instead of disabled form fields. The viewer includes the brief description, workflow stage, priority, assignee, tags, and due date where those fields are filled in. Empty optional sections stay hidden.
For a content lead sharing an assignment with a writer or freelancer, the public link brings the brief and its supporting material together. Readers can see keywords and the CTA, follow links, and open attachments. Images, PDFs, and Word documents also have file-type icons.
Start onboarding with your strategy document
You can now upload a strategy document when building your first content plan through AI onboarding. Choose I have a strategy doc, provide the file, and Boki uses its contents to build the plan.
For a founder with an existing strategy, this brings your audience, goals, publishing cadence, and constraints into the planning flow. You can open the resulting plan, review how those details have been carried through, and make changes before moving on to content briefs.
Pick up onboarding where you paused
You can now pause onboarding with Maybe later and return through Continue on the dashboard. Your completed progress stays in place, and the pending offer returns in the existing Boki chat.
For a founder fitting setup around other work, this keeps the next step connected to what you’ve already done. After creating a plan, for example, you can return to the offer to generate content brief options without starting a new conversation.
Open a promotion from its brief
The Distributions workflow is now called Promotions across Boki agent experiences. Where a brief has an associated promotion, it now shows a View promotion action, so you can open the linked promotion directly.
For a social media marketer moving from an assignment into promotion work, this connects the brief to its promotion without a separate search through the Promotions list. The workflow is the same, the naming is clearer.
Additional improvements and fixes

Article reply notifications now reach the intended recipient, so replies don’t get missed.

Brief due-date changes save and stay put after a reload, instead of reverting.

Multiple-file uploads and attachment handling are more reliable, so files uploaded together stay available to open.

Adding columns in plan-modal tables no longer fails, and new columns are kept after saving and reopening.

A promotion linked to a brief can now be deleted without breaking the brief, which stays accessible.

Public briefs render correctly even when the brief has empty content.

Fixed mention handling so mentions resolve correctly.

Public brief links are now limited to safe HTTP and HTTPS URLs.
